Open house December 2020
The Regen-Weissenstein RR is inspired by three Bavarian German towns along the Regen (river), when my wife Renate (as a 12-yearold child) with her brother and sister were evacuated from Berlin to Czechoslovakia (in Chrudim, about 100 miles east of Prague). They eventually made their way back to the area of Regen, Weissenstein, and Zwiesel Germany and spent eight months working on local farms until they were helped by American soldiers to get back to Berlin.
Enjoy the Deutsche Bahnhoffs (German train stations) and take an enjoyable trip back in time.
